I want to reassure you that I have tried to consider every step of your journey to take as much stress out of the process as possible.

The location where I perform my clinic review and operations are all in the same building at 100 Victoria Parade in East Melbourne. This means only visiting one location once you arrive in Melbourne for all of your ophthalmic care. I have partnered with local hotel companies, all of which are within walking distance of the building, to offer lower-than-advertised rates to my patients. Each of these hotels includes valet or onsite parking, so once you have driven into Melbourne, there is no need to drive anywhere else.

The benefit of travelling to Melbourne for cataract surgery is that it is readily available and affordable. I can often facilitate cataract surgery within two weeks of referral, charging minimal out-of-pocket expenses, and I will complete travel reimbursement forms to reduce the cost of driving, public transport, and accommodation. In selected cases, I can perform cataract surgery on both eyes at the same time to minimise the number of trips to Melbourne.
